- Spirit Day (fundraising for Fort McMurray) - The school is currently voting on what type of spirit day it should hold. However, to participate, students are asked to make a donation (of any amount) to help those affected by the fire. There are two deadlines for the donations: May 31st - any money collected up until this point will be matched by the Red Cross. June 3rd - the school's deadline, will be donated to the Red Cross (but the organization will not match this amount).
- Fun lunch due Wednesday, June 1st.
Language Arts
- We started our comic strip creations today. Students received 10 minutes to brainstorm and an hour to complete their rough drafts. They are to come to class on Monday with the rouge draft done so that they can begin their good copies and have it ready for our volunteer tea next Friday, June 3rd. The assignment outline and rubric were distributed in class.
- Science tests on Air, Aerodynamics, and Flight were handed back last Friday. Green sheets are now overdue.
- Here is an updated checklist for "How High Can You Fly?" project. Students should have the following completed the following by now:

- Building prototype
- Pre-tradeshow News Article (Rough Draft)

- Build final version of the device
- Blueprint (rough copies completed in notebooks, good copy on paper provided in class)
Math:
- Patterns and Relations Test Green Sheets overdue.
