"F"ursday - it was kind of like a Friday.

General:

1. Human Sexuality began this week for the Grade 5s and Grade 6s.  It will run for approximately 2 weeks, potentially 3 weeks due to the short week this week and next week.  Parents are encouraged to follow-up with their children at home.
2. Short week this week. 

• No school tomorrow or the following Monday, May 23rd (Victoria Day).

Math

1. Green sheets sent home regarding our Patterns Unit test from late last month. Please sign and return by Wednesday.

Science:

1. Here is an updated checklist for "How High Can You Fly?" project.  Students be completed the following by tomorrow:
• Planning Page
• Modification for wing shape
• Building prototype
• Pre-tradeshow News Article (Rough Draft)
• Bird Adaptation Modification
• Pre-tradeshow News Article (Good Copy)
• Infomercial Planning Page
• Rough copy of infomercial
• Good copy of informercial (Typed)

Language Arts

1. There will not be any more official class time given to adjust infomercials. The expectation is that students are to make adjustments to reflect the feedback they received from their peers. Any time there is time given to work on the project, students are expected to complete their script for the infomercial. Part of the final project involves providing a copy for the teacher to review.
