- Due to the hit and run incident, the Grade 5/6 classrooms have decided to start a bottle drive to raise funds to buy items to make a personalized gift basket for each of the students in our class. We will begin collecting the recyclable items tomorrow. Please rinse them out prior to bringing them to school. Students are welcome to bring monetary donations if they are unable to bring something for the bottle drive.
- "Legend Has It" form/$ due November 27th.
Language Arts:
- Rough copy of story was due on Monday.
- Students had a self and peer evaluation period today and are to make their changes for tomorrow. Beginning tomorrow, students will be given time to type up their stories in class, which means that they in theory, will not have LA homework this week.
- Ms. Cheng will go over proper formatting tomorrow in class; e.g.:
- How to double-space work
- Centre a title
Math:
- Please sign the green sheet for Number Sense Quiz #2 and return ASAP.
Social:
- Ancient Athens title page is now overdue. Those who have not finished their title pages are reminded to use the title page evaluation to guide the completion of their work.
- Ancient Athens Scavenger Hunt is due Wednesday, November 25th.
