Movember - A Message from Mr. Sadowsky

"We are beginning a Movember fundraiser and I am asking for your support with this. Mr. Hebert, Mr. Shackleton and myself, Mr. Sadowsky, are all growing moustaches in support of Movember, which is an organization dedicated to promoting men's health and finding a cure for prostate cancer.

To help raise funds the three of us will have a little competition in which students and staff can vote for who has the WORST MOUSTACHE for a small donation. Each vote will cost $1.00 and you can vote as often as you like. You are voting for the one who you believe has the worst moustache.

Each week some Mavericks will update a poster located in the front of the school with how many votes each person has. I am asking students to give their donations to their home room teacher and teachers will keep a tally of the votes.

On the last day of November we will determine who has the most votes and the class that raised the most money will get to choose an outfit of their choice that the losing teachers will have to wear all day on Monday Dec 7th. (We chose this day as some grade 5/6 students will be away at camp on the 1st and would miss out on the fun.)

I’m also setting a minimum of $300.00 raised for this to happen.

Reminder, students are voting for the WORST 'stache, NOT the best.

Thank you all for your support with this.

VOTE Mr. HEBERT or Mr. SHACKELTON!"

Mr. Sadowsky
