Think On Your Feet Thursday

General:

1. Swimming is now over; there is no need to bring swim gear to school.
2. No School Friday (PD Day) or Monday (Thanksgiving). 
3. ECOSchool Parent information night next Tuesday (6-7 pm) in the Learning Commons; the first day after the long weekend.
4. Fun Lunch due: October 21st. 

Language Arts:

1. Poet-Me Anthology: Please make sure that students have completed the following in their red duotangs:

• Mother to Son (typed, printed, and an illustrated border)
• Biopoem
• Fortunately/Unfortunately
• Arguments
• Alliteration (started, not finished)
• Apologies 

Rough drafts for all poems are due on Tuesday.

Social:

1. Quiz next week. Students wrote the topics down in their notebook. 

• Topics include:

• Canada (province, territories, capital cities)
• Latitude/Longitude lines
• Mapping skills
